Welcome to Algebra 1!  This is an introductory algebra class for freshmen. 

There is homework every night, and a test at the end of each chapter.  Did you like your grade on your last test???  No???  Then you can retake it, but only if you did BOTH test reviews and a corrective!  If you need a corrective, come see me before or after school.  You don't have much time to retest, so hurry!!!

Do you have a calculator?  You need one... now!  Here are a couple of good suggestions:  The Texas Instruments TI30-XIIS or TI30-XIIA.  Both will do whatever you need them to and cost around $12.00.

Were you absent?  You already have the Homework Packet.  I gave it to you at the start of the chapter!  Here are the assignments in case you missed them:

1. Monday, 2.22.10:  12A #1-15 odd, 23, 25, 36-39 all.
2. Tuesday, 2.23.10:  English 1-2 PBA/AIMS.
3. Wednesday, 2.24.10:  English 1-2 PBA/AIMS.
4. Thursday, 2.25.10:  12B #1-11 odd, 38-50 even.
5. Friday, 2.26.10:  12C #10-30 even, 37, 39, 42, 51, 52.
6. Monday, 3.1.10:  12D #1-3 all, 5-23 odd, 31, 36, 43.  Study for quiz!
7. Tuesday, 3.2.10:  QUIZ and 12E #1-33 every other odd.
8. Wednesday, 3.3.10:  12F (Day 1) #1-10 all.
9. Thursday, 3.4.10:  12F (Day 2) #12-30 even.
10. Friday, 3.5.10:  3G #1,5, 7, 12, Review A.
11. Monday, 3.8.10:  Review B.
12. Tuesday, 3.9.10:  Test 12!!!
13. Wednesday, 3.10.10:  Pyramid Game!
14. Thursday, 3.11.10:  Review C.
15. Friday, 3.12.10:  Retest 12!!!  Have a good Spring Break!
