I was born in New York and moved to AZ when I was four.  I grew up in Phoenix and attended Independence High School.  Playing softball brought me to Coolidge, AZ and then on to Florida.  I believe involvement in one of the numerous extra-curricular activities offered in high school is a key component of success in high school.  Explore all you can while here because it will be over before you know it! 

     When I am not in my office decorated with some reference to chocolate, I am a mother of two beautiful children.  If I have any spare time you'll find me reading while curled up on the couch.  The next best place would be on a beach somewhere basking in the sun. 

     You may be asking, why go into counseling after all those years in the classroom?  The answer is simple.  I love to help students.  My caseload grew from about 35 students a year as a Special Education teacher to over 400 as a counselor.  I meet so many unique, talented, inspiring young people and having the opportunity to guide them academically, socially and in life planning is rewarding beyond words.
