Hello My Name Is...

Tim Evans

I was born in Omaha, Nebraska. I have lived in Phoenix most of my life (40 of 45 yrs). I grew up in the Sunnyslope HS neighborhood. I attended Brophy Prep for high school and then graduated from ASU with a degree in secondary education and math. I also have a master degree from ASU in secondary ed/math. I have 25 years of teaching experience at Sunnyslope (11), Mountain Ridge (1), Buena (3) and Greenway (10). I was a head high school football coach for 13 of those years. I am married to a teacher at Sandra Day O'Connor H.S. I have 4 kids and their ages are 26, 24, 16 and 10. The three oldest are girls and the youngest is a boy.  Outside of school I am an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan, I enjoy outdoor activities, I train police/schutzhund dogs and I spend time with my kids.
I love teaching and am looking forward to a great year!
