Amazing as it seems, I am a second generation Arizona native. I grew up in Phoenix and attended Sunnyslope High School. Both of my parents were teachers so it was a given that I would pursue my Bachelor of Education degree from Northern Arizona University. I majored in a dual major program in Special Education and Early Childhood Education. After the birth of my children, I obtained my Masters degree in Administration from NAU.
I have taught at Greenway for 30 years as a Learning Skills teacher. This is my home and I feel that it is a great place to work. I was so convinced of the quality of education here that I brought both of my own children to this school from a neighboring district.
They have both graduated and are now pursuing their degrees.
