Located in northwest Phoenix, Arizona, Greenway High School serves approximately 1600 students, and is proud of its tradition of academic and athletic excellence, which is evidenced by the number of state and national accolades we have received. The Arizona State Department of Education has identified Greenway as an Excelling School for the past two years and deemed it an Arizona A+ School in 1995 and in 2001. In addition, the United States Department of Education recognized Greenway as a National Blue Ribbon School in 1996. Greenway’s athletic teams have established and maintained a tradition of both sportsmanship and success, winning many region championships every year. Last year most of our athletic teams qualified for state playoffs, with Girls’ Track and Girls’ Softball both capturing state championships. Additionally, Greenway offers all students the opportunity to participate in a variety of organizations ranging from Art Club to Writing club, and service organizations such as Key Club and student Government. Because of these opportunities, over 75% of our students are involved in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The faculty, staff and administration at Greenway are excited about the new school year, and we are looking forward to meeting our parents and community at the various activities that we have planned throughout the year.
