Tatum Parrot- Top Volleyball Finalist

Prep Volleyball.com each year chooses a National Player of the Year at each of the 4 Grade Levels. From November to Mid-December, coaches across the nation submit candidates that are worthy of this recognition. Of the thousands of nominees at each grade level submitted, a group of 31 finalists, at each level, are chosen and then 1 picked from each elite group.

Our own Tatum Parrott is in the elite group of the 31 Sophomores chosen from the thousands of nominees across the nation.

We will let you know if Tatum wins the National Award!

Tatum Parrott, 6-1 OH, Greenway (Phoenix Arizona) – Parrott was named Arizona 4A Offensive POY after leading the Demons to a second consecutive State Title in 2019. On the season the Sophomore collected 430 kills, 244 digs, 41 aces and 42 blocks for a 30-win team. “Tatum is a six rotation outside hitter who dominated the court offensively and defensively said coach Sarah Peterson. She not only has the power and ability to put the ball down consistently inside the 10-foot line, but has learned to be smart with the ball this year. You never know where her next hit is going to go and that is what makes her so effective as a pin hitter. She has become one of the best defenders in the state with her long body and determination to pick up every ball. This team has played the best in Arizona and there is not a team or coach out there that doesn’t feel Tatum’s presence on the court. They just don’t have any answers for what she does out there.”
